Learning to Trust God with Money

Hello everyone,

I am going to start blogging so i can keep you informed with where God is leading me in my pursuit of missions. With the life of missions comes the lack of finances. this is not always a bad thing it is used a lot of times to grow us in our faith and to draw us closer to God. Some of you may not know that I am planning on going to a Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School in this coming April. This has to do finances do to the fact that I need to earn and raise over $10,000 in order to go. This school is broken in to two phases one is a lecture phase for 12 weeks the other is an outreach phase which is 11 weeks. I have to have the money for the lecture phase by the first day of training which is April 7th.

I was really worrying about getting the money to go and I was praying that God would provide work so I could cut down the cost I needed to go. Most of the summer I had no work and I was getting depressed that I was not going to be able to go. I had almost accepted that I was not going when I got a call late on August 18th from my next door neighbor. He said he need some help with some work so for the next six days I worked on the oak flat fire near my home town. Those days cut the amount of money I needed for the lecture phase to just over a thousand dollars. God is so good and now I have complete faith that God wants me to go on this trip and that He will provide the money that I need to go.

thank you for reading

God Bless
Tim
